Accessing the SSP

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

How do I access the Safe and Sound Protocol?

In the first instance, please contact us for an initial conversation. You can book an initial free call here, or send us an e-mail.

Due to the pandemic, we are only offering remote Safe and Sound Protocol delivery, so you complete the programme in the comfort and safety of your own home but with video support and co-regulation by us.

This has been working very well with the majority of clients, due to the fact that practitioners have complete control over the programme, which ensures that clients cannot over-listen or listen to the wrong tracks by mistake!

An initial appointment in conjunction with our screening forms will determine your suitability for the programme, or may indicate that you require some careful work with us beforehand.

The emphasis should always be on creating the safe before providing the sound

You will be required to track your autonomic nervous system with us, so that we can, if necessary, adapt your programme.

The central part of the Safe and Sound Protocol is a five-hour listening programme. However, the way this is delivered is completely customisable, and varies from client to client.

For optimal outcomes, safety and co-regulation are of the utmost importance, which is why we screen our clients carefully and work differently with each person we encounter, according to their autonomic nervous system.

It can take anything from 10 days to 3 months to complete a round of the five-hour SSP Core. This can be preceded and succeeded by the SSP Connect and SSP Balance programmes, completely dependent on autonomic state.
